Our story

A quieter way of making.

A lounge chair in solid oak, deep wool, and saddle leather—made for the slow part of the day.

Morrow Home

Fewer things, chosen well.

Morrow Home's lounge chair is built around a solid oak frame with exposed mortise-and-tenon joinery, hand-sanded edges, and a hand-oiled finish. The seat is deep and low, with a high-resilience foam core wrapped in wool, linen, or optional saddle leather; the back angle is set for reading, conversation, and the long half-hour before dinner. Each piece is assembled in small runs, with replaceable glides and a frame designed to be reupholstered rather than replaced.

Use it as a single reading chair, a pair across a low table, or the quieter anchor of an open room. The proportions suit apartments and larger living rooms alike; the exposed timber and plain upholstery keep it from feeling heavy. Pair with the ottoman for a longer sit, or keep the silhouette clean with the chair alone.

Orders are made to order and typically ship within 8–10 weeks; white-glove delivery is available at enquiry for most metropolitan areas. Unused pieces may be returned within 30 days in original packaging, with return shipping arranged by Morrow Home; made-to-order upholstery and leather selections are final sale. Swatches are available before ordering, and care instructions ship with every piece.
